Improving Prescribing Rates of Glucagon-Like Peptide 1 Receptor Agonists in Youth With Type 2 Diabetes

This series is intended to highlight best practices and strategies from programs and clinics that have successfully improved the quality of care for people with diabetes or related conditions. The following article describes a quality improvement project to improve outcomes by increasing the prescribing rates of GLP-1 receptor agonists in pediatric patients with type 2 diabetes in the pediatric endocrinology clinics of a Seattle, WA-based health care system.
